its not been seen before now. someone will be thinking if i move this to there and that over somewhere else i can fit
that van in here…and i certainly hope so it needs a good home. the running gear could be quite good been under that
dry van body.just had another look now i can’t rule out Guy or Thornycroft■■?

Managed to enlarge it a bit and it seems to have the Indian’s Head atop the grille.

Hi sammyopisite,[Johnnie] think u mite be rite on"t Daimler? got one er 4u johnnie Union Cartage Co, Apparently used to Build there own ballast Lorries? And Put Gardeners In Um? Still Around In The 60s? Ever av a go In one of these Johnnie? Cheers Chris.

I remember having boils sucked :laughing: it wasn’t that bloody funny either. the inside of a bottle was heated either with a naked flame or by filling with hot water, emptying and placing open end of bottle on ripe boil, soreish but it worked. That was only one of the many home made diy doctoring applications when I was a youngster.

Like you Oily, I had a boil on the back of my neck drained by the “hot bottle” method , :open_mouth: :open_mouth: it was bloody painful!!! I was about 15 at the time. I must say I never had another boil after that and I had been plagued with them for about a year until then. Regards Kev. Ps back to the pics.
