Hi Kev, That Mickey Mouse Foden is right up my street, I do hope the owner has the same sentiment as me about Fodens, They were a fantastic bit of engineering at its best in my book, We ran Fodens in 1973, Second hand of course, But One has to start somewhere hasn’t one, Its just a pity that Fodens have stopped making one of the finest Vehicles made in Great Britten since time began, Regards Larry.

If that was the original spec it must have been a bit of a special, or is it a stretched Cruiser ?

Its a stretched Freighter Plus the engine was changed to meet the higher gross weight, Its a Cranning air lift axle, Plus it had a Hyab fitted, Most likely the only one with this spec, Regards Larry.
We had an X reg Freighter with a TL11 engine. Not sure now but I think it came from one of the oil companies and the engine was the original fit.
It was mid wheel base and we fitted a HIAB and a 18ft flat body with sides. It was on contract to Briggs Amasco. (Tarmac) The big engine came in handy when towing the asphalt cookers.
