How much does it cost to go over this today with an artic ? cheers Buzzer.
Its free, They stopped the toll money quite some time ago, If we had all the money we paid over the years I would be considered a rich man, When I first used the bridge when it first opened you paid on the south side heading north & the same heading south then they changed it & you paid going north but it was free going south, The as ive said its now free, Regards Larry.

Quote “if it has driven wheels and carries or pulls a load let us see it” may be I need glasses but all I can see here is an old green shed.
Note. CCK and myself kissed and made up like men, sorry for having an opinion it’s my illness, Buzzer.
Buzzer:
Maybe not perfect for this thread unless you did Italy during your careers, just a little reminder of taking fully freighted trucks on passes like this, cheers Buzzer.
Evening all, Buzzer, it was not quite as bad as the picture with the bicycle when I first went over Cenis, around 63, with a 4 cylinderGardner
Foden S20 rigid. Still busy, ( I think that it was about 65 when De Gaulle, and whoever was the Italian head at that time opened the Mont Blanc Tunnel ), had one of my quickest runs ever with a Foden S21, (Micky Mouse), Gardner 150, and mechanical split 12 speed …boy what power!!! , and Boden tandem box van…fairly flew up the “steps”…but France was a long hard thrash on the governor at 51mph
I personally loved Cenis, Petite Grande St Bernard, and any other steep pass that I could find…never grew up…big hills…big lorries…big fun!!!
Big Bollinger beckons…for tommorow its big sileage…then into the Hay…then the Harvest…never grew up…but the bodies protesting now…
Thanks for the memories…
Cheerio for now.
