Proper hangover material that brew X1 Oily, last time i saw that beaver she looking a little rough, been stood outside,Pete

That’s it Pete BrewX1, not Brew11  1/3d a pint Morris’s Social and Athletics Club, Crescent Rd., Cowley early '60s. I remember giving a mate a lift home after a Sunday lunchtime imbibe of the brew, dropping him off, he said come and have a look at these, a litter of pups, they were destined to be put down and he was trying to find homes for them, I chose a dark brown one, so here’s me off home with him in a cardboard box, get home and the kids are delighted, not so my late wife who took one look at the flea infested bundle and said get that bloody thing back where you found it to a background chorus of “oh mum, how could you” and “what shall we call him” it fell on deaf ears as she glared at me( I’m slightly oiled with the nectar) and said… " BrewX1 has muddled your bloody brain", one of the kids cuddled the wee thing, and said something like hello BrewX1, that was it, it stuck, Brew turned out a cracking dog after de-worming and de-fleaing by guess who, yes the missus. Hey I digress again, so one from the past and your town, no doubt if Saviem is looking in he will know type of outfit.

oop’s Oxford St. looking east just passed Selfridges

Lovely art-work  . Unusual on a Italian wagon though I think, did a lot of Italy & I tended to find they didn’t go in for this sort of thing much, preferring a lower-profile with many not having any markings at all! Regards Chris

Are Deans still trading I wonder, they used to run into Ballidon Quarry with plant from our other quarries but that was many years ago now?

Pete.

Had these on Air Products to replace our old Strato’s with the DAF cab, didn’t like them myself, bit cheap & nasty on the inside & a crap ride with a Tanker on :frowning: , but this looks nice in Trad’ British colours
