This two-stroke was fitted with Dunlop experimental " rubber " rear suspension,but our mechanics soon fitted it with springs,as it was a lot of bother ! Pretty advanced for a 50s lorry I guess.
We used to come up the " Sun " out of Denshaw in the dark "Slightly " overloaded,and would often get a stream of red hot coals out of the exhaust lighting up the night!
Great lorries though, the only problems I remember were broken blower shafts,and the engine running backwards now and then

Can’t remember exactly where but I was on the bay loading in Holland & these 2 came in & parked opposite!
This was taken outside the drivers house he had “just called home to use the bog”
i think its a Rolls 265 its a day cab used on the Spillers job from Ackworth i guess this is around 1983/4
Can’t for the life of me remember where I took this , but it was mid-80s, it was in Europe & I was loading there
