hi oiltreader, I thought you may take a trip up to Invergorden. as its flat out 24/7
lots of contractors doing repairs on the oilrigs.32 oilrigs to repair they did say 5 years work, but its looking like 10 now as they are months behind, plenty of trucks around delivering to the sites.heres an old gem.
Essential when loading furnace coke on an 8-wheeler.
One haulier thought he could make them “on the cheap” out of timber. He got about five miles before they caught fire from the hot coke!

Hello Dai, cheers for the pic yes Invergordon is certainly a hub of activity and along with the revival of Nigg, Easter Ross is now buzzing again, we’ve had a grand summer, which has kept me very busy with stuff at home, but I hear what you and will have it in mind.
A pic for you, you will know someone who perhaps will know who this is.
All the Best
Oily
George Bargh, from Caton, near Lancaster owned this 1967/8 reg. Albion Super Clydesdale.
It is shown here carrying a demountable box body , secured with chains and tensioners , - a common ( and safe ) practice in the 1960`s.
When George retired in the early 1970`s , Alan Thompson from Carnforth , took over the business , and retained the livery , - and is still in the same format.
Cheers, cattle wagon man.
P.S. If no accompanying photo is here , then apologies to you all.
I`m trying to get to grips with a new printer.
This new Houghton Parkhouse Platinum was exhibited at the recent Royal Welsh Show.
The 2nd. and 3rd. decks are of full tray design , thus eliminating internal ramps.
the 3-axled drawbar trailer was formerly a semi trailer , and now shortened in length.

Hi Oiltreader,
Many thanks for enlarging the photograph.
I struggled with this new laptop and printer for a couple of hours yesterday. Just when I thought I`d got it right,…
I can remember having a chuckle when R.O.F. made mistakes when he first attempted to show photos on TNUK,
so he`s now getting his revenge.
" Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible " , - that`s what the T.V. companies used to tell us years ago.
