I’d say that’s definitely classed as a demountable mate. And the guy with the Crusader must have run out of Ls! A few more Scammel “l” s from my collection:

Was the Karrier Bantam shot in Leatherhead ? If it was then probably it is “CF” at the wheel prior to him being placed in secure accomodation. :smiley: Bewick.
