About historical vehciles cut465 is a 144 bedford ob coach new to jacques coaches coalville leicestershire in 1944 . It is still in service toaay in the historical section of dews coaches in cambridgeshire . I rode on this bus or similair as a kid it had a petrol engine then. It appeared in foyles war nemsis (Miss Marple) and many others. In nemisis it shows a young lady driver struggling with heavy non powered steering
That one is actually a wartime OWB delivered with a utility bus body and rebodied after the war with a new Duple Vista coach body. At one time Dews used it on school work, it used to park at the end of my road after dropping the kids off ready to take them home later

Never travelled that road, took the train instead to get out of Melbourne. Nearly did though when I turned down a job running from Sydney in an Oshkosh. Too much like working in a coffin.
Love the B61 Thermodyne though SDU.
