I am sure that there was an article about it in The Manchester Evening News some time ago. I shall have a look through their archives and see if I can find out anything more about it.

Not having heard of that before I found the article very interesting, but having only been bought and converted in the '70s why on earth was it broken up and removed in the '80s?
Strikes me there is a missing bit of this story. :unamused: :neutral_face:
