Tyneside your picture below of the horse draw hearse Fred Gee, I once bought a pair of horses from a Fred Gee about 15 years ago and he did a lot of horse drawn funerals but he lived near Leek so wondering if it is the same man or maybe a relation as the picture looks as if it was from further back in time, sold the horses to a mate and he still has them, Buzzer

Hi Buzzer, The Fred Gee in the picture is from Gosforth, Newcastle on Tyne. I believe it was taken in the 1920’s (or before) Could be a relation or pure coincidence.
I have a family photo of one of my Grandfather’s hearses, which is very similar to this one and the photo was taken about 1910.

The Austin is the model that my Dad made me buy (because he had to sign the HP agreement), not very cool, but the Zephyr was one the the several Fords I later bought after ‘independance’ day. :laughing:
