Yes, but only if they had no reverse gear Pete, that one boasts a reverse, doesn’t it?
I did wonder about that Spardo, something in the back of my brain told me that may have been the case. Bond got around that ruling by having a Dynastart on the Villiers engine to reverse the rotation so didn’t need a ‘proper’ reverse gear!

Interesting, all that! When I was a kid in France (early sixties), I remember Messerschmitt and Isetta “cars”. I think the first was two-stoke when the second was powered by a BMW motorcycle engine.

Ferrybridge Pete, in the '60s we delivered to York which took us past the towers, hadn’t heard anything on the news and was a big surprise on the next trip a day or so after the towers had collapsed in high winds.
