The bridge was the site of the ‘Great Train Robbery’ where the poor engine driver received life changing injuries. Ba*tards.

You were right to use quotation marks. Even as a teenager, I could not understand why the media were already referring to the ‘great’ train robbery. There was nothing great about violently assaulting a transport worker and it wasn’t a victimless crime.

The Dartmouth Ferry pic gave me a pause for thought. Ford Anglia, Vauxhall Victor(?), and an Austin 12, the same model that my Grandad owned in the 1950s which we as a family inherited when he died, and the only vehicle in 59 years the number plate of which I still remember to this day. DNE 911. Even today, if I have to fill in the numbers of either of my 2 current cars, I have to look out of the window to check.

I enlarged the photo, and it isn’t that one, what would be the chances?

You forgot to identify the truck at the back so have another look and inform us all, maybe it was one of your many varied driving jobs you have had, what chances of that mate, Buzzer
