Wasn’t the Austin known as the Birmingham Bedford and didn’t Bedford try to sue them for knicking their design?

cattle wagon man:
Can anyone from around the Sandbach, Cheshire area remember this Volvo FH 12 ?
The name " F. Hackney ( Sandbach ) Ltd." is still shown on the cab front panel .The tanker was being used to supply fresh drinking water to hotels and restaurants throughout the island.
Cheers, cattle wagon man.
I can remember the FH 12 in the picture, used to stay in their yard every so often. Hackneys ran ERF 's as well but later updated to CF Dafs, ironically saw Simon the other day after probably 5/6 years but no longer in transport but believe the yard is still there very close to the town centre,it was behind a petrol station.I think there are some more pictures on here a DAF 1900 and crane 4 wheeler if I recall from the same stable.

" And now for something completely different ! " , as Monty Python said. Here are 4 DAF

, cobbled together like a " Monkschain" !! With non-original cab doors , they
ve been cobbled together to arrive at their destination of sunny Malta, a few years ago.
Pete 359 will recognize the John Raymond cab door, and the Shropshire Lads will see Whitchurch gets a viewing .Something different for
