What a find Suedehead I reckon someone at BRS who purchased this would have lost his job for being unpatriotic. :open_mouth:

Sunday service, Buzzer

The first one makes me wonder why I thought I was hard done by with my rabbit hutch Atki at Econofreight.
And the last one makes me think that perhaps that train is a tad overweight…in the cab.

The last is the latest in the paddock [Nullabor] runners and sleeper made to measure David . :unamused:

Is that a split screen on the Aussie AEC Ergo? Good idea, especially in Oz where stones can be a real problem on outback roads.

I remember a stone strike in England which took out the passenger screen on my Mk.1 Atki, and was really thankful that I still had a good screen to look through, a bit drafty though.

Thanks to lurpak, DEANB, Buzzer, pyewacket947v and DIG for the pics

Yes it’s a split screen. I drove one like that with a road ranger 15speed. Don’t know or can’t remember what engine it had… don’t ya love getting old.

Sorry to disappoint Oily but I.m not sure about the Inter I didn’t think that model was available until the late 60s and I.m afraid thats a Leyland Buffalo up front with possibly the big Albion motor under the bonnet, it would need it pulling body and 3 trailers.

Just to show cow carters uniform hadn’t changed much over the years although Double Deckers were the go ,by the way I.m the good looking one wearing skins.

Just proves what I always say, they were far better years ago than today. We seem to get worse rather than better.

Well trashed, a Foden S80/3 cab and as is often the case, the screens are still intact.
