Passengers

Hi does anyone take them along for the ride or is it frowned on by agencies

It’s VeRY rare to find a company that will let you nowadays due to H&S ect ect.
Guy I know took his Mrs once down to London for the day in his wagon(not allowed due to company policy)all great until his work rang him asking him to pick up another driver on his was home whose wagon had broken down and gone terminal.

I went out with a mate a couple of times prior to starting Class 2 lessons… He did clear it with his boss first though so all above board. Best to be sure.

Very much up to individual company policy, small family outfits tend to be ok as long as cleared with the boss, the large “logistics” companies seem to be mostly a no, normally tell you they not insured or against Health and Safety.
and I doubt you’d be very popular with an agency if you turned up at a job with a passenger and got turned away.

Its best to ask, that way you’ll know for sure.

The above is all I have ever heard of tbh.

But at the end of the day I would ALWAYS recommend what Radar suggests… ASK, oh and yes, beforehand
