Hi, today i passed my theory and hazard for hgv entitlement. I passed my car test in 1990, got my hgv provisanal in 2008 but never took it any further. Can i now start my training? heard something about cpc module 1? Also any recommendation for trianing school in Leicestershire area?

Module 1a - theory multiple choice
Module 1b - hazard perception
Module 2 - case studies
Module 3 - practical test
Module 4 - practical demonstration

As you passed your car test before 1997, you will already have category C1 (7.5 tonne lorry). This means that you have the option of doing module 2 and module 4, or 35 hours of CPC. Many trainers recommend doing 35 hours as you can’t fail that. You do of course have to pass module 1 and module 3 to get category C added to your driving licence.
