Today at 2pm I heard those words we all want to “that’s a pass”.
I have never been so relived, not sure it has sunken it yet though!
Richard.

Few beers i should think
Congrats Rich, well done mate.
Thanks for all the congratulations.
I have had a few beers to quench the driest mouth I have ever had!! and fallen asleep.
As for a plan I am not sure at the moment.
I have been kept busy by the agencies at the moment on the rigid’s so probably will try to get some work there. The only other plan is to send my CV out to all the Transport companies, although have no idea what type of work I would want to be on? Any ideas on what is good?
Richard.
Firstly congratulations on your pass. Great feeling!
When you’re looking for work, it’s generally accepted that the best starting point with artics can be trunking - preferably at night. There’s less traffic - especially barmy car drivers - and sometimes a bit less pressure on time. It’s easier to sort out positioning errors, for instance, when there’s less traffic around. And, be sure, you will make those errors!
But it has to be said that you shouldn’t be too fussy at this stage. Maybe one of the companies you’ve been driving for runs class 1 and may give you a start? At least you’ll be familiar with their systems.
Hope you find something suitable and rewarding. All the best, Pete
Congratulations!
Now the fun begins!
Congrats on yor test result enjoy let it sink in and wait for the postie to drop that shiney new licence through your door.
Your right about the dry mouth. Well done mate.

Congrats mate, on your pass, doing mine monday lunchtime, not bricking it at all, already gettin a dry mouth just thinkin about it, LOL !!!
Congratulations passing your C+E
Once again thanks for all the kind comments.
I have informed the two agencies I am with that I have passed but they can’t/won’t do anything until my licence comes back.
The idea of starting on nights sounds like a great one I’ll enquire about it on Monday.
Also I have an interview with ND coming up, that might be good.
Richard.
How you getting on?
Gav
Its all going very well. I have spent the last month on agency work doing mostly Hiab work (which is quite good fun), getting some of that all important experience.
In that time I sent out a load of CV’s and did the ND interview and was offered a class 2 position but turned it down as on the same day I was offered a class one position with a company local to me.
I start that job tomorrow!
Wow. Get in. Let us know how you get on tomorrow
