Passed my C+E

Hi, been driving Class 2 for 12 years, but been driving 7.5 since i was 18, company i work for asked if i fancied doing my Class 1, to be honest i was happy bobbin about on the 26t, but thought i would upgrade my licence, so last sat i was booked onto a week long course through Town & Country with my test on thursday, happy to say i passed first time with only 3 minor faults, think im still in shock, couldnt have asked for better instructor, no pressure at all, everything dropped into place on 4th day of training, so i’ve gone from a Volvo FE upto a Volvo FH 500 as of monday.

Congrats pal, you’re a big boy now!

12 years in a VAN is a long time and I’m guessing it wasn’t a bad gig, so care to elaborate on what it was? I ask as both F-reds and I have done posts about VAN driving gigs that don;'t break your balls: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=136558

Enjoy your new Volvo, I know I would compared to driving a CF! :imp:

Yes it was a long time but i have had it easy, for the 1st 10 years i had no more than 1-2 drops even though these were distance like scotland or the south coast, the last 2 years i have been doing around 3-6 drops per day a cpl of nights out now and then delivering adhesive rolls of paper to the printing industry, its the easiest job ive had in both companies so i cant complain really, i did work for 3663 once for 1 day, but i think 15-20 drops across the penines wasnt for me haha
