Passed mod 2

Hi Everyone

Just dropping in to say I am over the moon to have passed the mod 2 test this evening.

The questions I can remember were based on multi-manning, driving a tipper, carrying scrapped cars, wind deflector kits, a little about diet and the effects of alcohol / late nights partying, driving abroad and travelling on a ferry, container questions about being sealed and secured, a few questions about freight ‘methods’ if you like the words cabotage and groupage came up twice - (I’m still not entirely sure about those tbh), burst tyres, broken headlights, documents when going abroad.

I’m sure I’ll remember other stuff but those were the main gubbins of it.

I was shocked to get a pass, even more so at 46/50!

Hope that helps someone else

Congratulations mate. What Learning Material did you use for it? Also the freight 'methods are they sub contractors own account operations etc ?

I passed my Mod 2 with the same score and found a lot of it to be repetitive but common sense based.
I didn’t use any special materials to pass the Mod 2, I relied on the theory material I used for the theory test and would say that covered most if not all of what I needed to know.

Cheers I have got the Official Theory DVD which I am still going over for it and took a subscription out on driving theory for all also.

I found drivingtheoryforall to be fantastic. It was provided as part of my C training and found it a really valuable tool. I believe they also do case studies as well?

I’m stupid and I managed to pass haha.

I did my HP, theory and Mod 2 on the same day one after the other. Really liked doing it this way

I used the driving theory 4 all site and read the official DVSA guide to driving goods vehicles.

Passed parts 1a and 1b today so well chuffed

Congratulations, geting the theory done made it feel real for me. Then itsthe turn of Mod 4!

Yes I know what you mean Nick - got my Class C training next week so I’m like a kid waiting for Christmas

The night befre my training I was sikk as a dog due to Nerves! Was nervous all the way through and on test as well
