Passed class2 and sharing my experience doing it

Hi
I thought I’d share my experience on passing my class2 around Sheffield with you all.
I passed all the theory and hpt first time in early March, got 79 on the hpt, 97 on the multiple choice and 48 on the cpc.
Went and did the driving assessment a week later in a volvo fm7 and the instructor said I would be fine so course was booked for the first week in April.
So the week finally comes with the module 4 on the Thursday morning and driving test Friday dinnertime.
The cpc test I thought I’d failed but passed with 90%
The driving test started off well then about half way through coming down into Sheffield City centre as I was going down this road with cars parked down my side of the road and a bus stops at a bus stop. Seen.as it was letting passenger’s on and off I committed myself then the bus pulls off without indication and ended up coming to a one and one the bus ended up going up the kerb to let me pass then all I got was abuse off the examiner.
Got back to test centre and surprise surprise you’ve failed even tho it weren’t my fault.
Booked a retest at the end of April.
Test day comes same examiner halfway round doing better than last time and oil pressure alarm goes off and examiner gets all abusive again test ended up been aborted.
Free retest a week later only this time with a different examiner felt a lot better when I found out so everything was going brill and all of a sudden a slovakian jumps over a wall and runs in front of the lorry slammed on brakes examiner said that was a close one couldn’t do better myself gets back to test centre examiner jumps out has a word with instructor jumps back in n fails me for that incident not one minor either.
I was well annoyed and started to think I was being scammed.
So I phoned l&t training up in Wakefield and told them the situation I was in, and asked me to go for a assessment, went and the bloke who took me out said why haven’t you passed already so I told him what had been happening and he said the examiner had a bad reputation and not to worry so book 1 day plus a test.
Test day came last Friday and low and behold I passed with zero faults the examiner said it was the best drive round he had done for a while and shuck my hand.
So there you have it just waiting on my cards coming then let the job hunting commence

I can’t understand why he failed you for a emergency stop. What was the reason you where given?
Glad you passed in the end your perseverance payed of

That’s what I couldn’t understand and wasn’t going to pay them to fail me again that’s why I moved training centres but that got me was the examiner jumping out without telling me how I did talking to instructor jumping back in n I’ve failed

It’s very strange to get a serious fault for the em stop provided you couldn’t reasonably anticipate our suicidal friend’s actions.

It’s also out of order for the examiner to get out and speak with the trainer before debriefing you.

I can guess which examiner this is; I strongly recommend a complaint. (you might get a test fee out of it and save loads of other folks grief from the same guy).

If you want any guidance on this, pm me. Happy to help. We don’t need examiners making their own rules. Pete

Id report that examiner, when i passed my driving test 10 years back in my town at the time there was 3 examiners, 2 males and a female. One of the males was a proper old school, used to be a head master in a posh boys school proper arrogant ■■■■■■ failed me 3 times for things that wernt my fault that i did my best to avoid etc, really unprofessional too he failed me 3 times then I had the other male as i refused to have that same examiner, got a 4th test free and passed with no minors. :unamused:
