Passed Cat C retake this morning!

Hi guys, I made a thread in here a couple of weeks ago after failing my first Class 2 test and was a little disheartened. Well today at 10:30am I had my retake at the Shrewsbury test centre and I’m glad to say I Passed!

Without going into too much detail everything went well, I did take a wrong turn during the independent drive but carried on and all was fine. I made sure I carried out all the necessary mirror checks and also slowed down a fair bit on the approach to round abouts and junctions which I failed for last time round. I ended up coming out with 3 minors

Dulson training of Shrewsbury we’re fantastic and I got on really well with the instructors there, the highest complement I can pay is that I will do doing my class 1 with them in the not too distant future

Overall I’m well chuffed and can’t wait to get on the road for real

Well done.

Congrats pal!

And as you took a wrong turn to drag the job out, I suggest you’ll be a great limper! [emoji14]

Funnily enough when I did not take every turn given to me during the independent drive I was told the same by the examiner after I passed.

Well done mate. Onwards and upwards.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, just sent off for my digi card and should be all set once my licence gets sent back.

Does anybody know how likely I am to get a start on class 2 with so little experience (As well as being quite young at 20, which could be bad for insurance purposes?)

If anybody could recommend any firms around the Telford area that would be great, thanks again

Congratulations! Well done

OP, as you are just a spring chick, look for the jobs that require a fair bit of physical labour. As us older buggers either can’t or don’t want to do those.

You’ll get a start, just be keen and persistent…

Best of luck.
