Hi everyone,
Bit of help needed. I’ve booked my theory and hazard perception tests, tried to book case studies test for same day with no luck. Contacted NI direct and its looks like I have acquired rights. I passed my car test in 1979.
Can anyone advise if I have to do the 35hrs classroom sessions?
Looking at the additional cost of this, is it why so many drivers are quitting the profession?
I feel bit miffed, because it would make more sense if a new driver did the 35hrs, rather than someone with years of experience!!!
You wouldn’t have acquired rights here but I don’t know if the rules are different in NI. Didn’t think they were.
As for the discussion as to who should do what and who doesn’t need to do something else - not getting involved.
But you may find that, if you’ve got acquired rights, you can get a lump of your training credited to cpc hours if you select an appropriate trainer.
