Best feeling in the world! Passed first time with 3 minors at kirkham this morning!
Gonna have a good few beers tonight I reckon… 
Cant recommend Paul at www.paulslgvtraining.co.uk enough! 12 hours I had before the 4 today that included my test. Nice bloke and great teacher!

I rarely needed a shunt during lessons, occasionaly used one but mainly did it without! On the day my head was up my ■■■ and it went to rats ■■■■! Got the trailer heading at too sharp an agle, if it didnt matter i possibly could have corrected it but though I may as well use a shunt. Pulled forward, set off back to the box. Was all well but a bit close to cone on drivers side, decided not worth the risk and took second shunt!
Like I said, never needed em in training but what the hell, might as well use em on the day! Its better than hitting anything. Wouldnt mind but 20 minutes before test I stopped for a burst on motorway services and had to back into the only space. That went straight in. Its amazing what test nerves does to you…!

One actually! Coming off the controled stop lane bit and heading for the gate I took some awful line and nearly mounted a kerb - in the test centre. I corrected it just in time and got a minor for that as well! 2 minors before getting out the gate may be some kind of record?
My other one was for undue hesitastion. I felt I had driven quite badly, it just goes to show you need to just keep going and not write it off as a fail. I thought I might have failed before I got out the test centre!
