Passed my class 1 today. Excellent. Was quite a long process but got there in the end. 
Has anyone got any good pointers for getting that first job. No experience jobs are hard to find. All help greatly appreciated.

Congrats pal and advice go round the yards and speak to them face to face instead of the phone or email and don’t get to down when u or if u get knock back after knock back took me a few months to get a start

Yeah I dont normally come in this part of the forum anymore. I was having a look through our ahem “friends” posts (Cant belive I missed all the fun in the “now an artic man” thread!) and saw him starting his guff on someone whos just passed. The main forum is one thing but guys in this part are genuinly seeking advice and if they get put off by ■■■■■ like Joy then the forum dies since no new blood arrives,if that makes sense.
In my view, always best to call out a troll the second they stick their head out, let him respond then lead him a merry dance with come backs and put downs till they have a meltdown.
Some folk just see snowmen as piles of frozen water with a carrot stuck in their grid’s.
But as you can now see, they are often dispensers of sound advice.
Shame they are also associated with Aled Jones though. Well done OP on becoming a CE Jedi Master.
