Parking up when its windy

hello folks, ran out of hours on the a34 abingdon last nite in a rigid with steel springs all round and the wind buffeted the truck that bad i felt sea sick. my normal truck has air suspension on the arse end and got me wondering is it better to drop all the air out the bags to make it more stable when its windy any ideas? cheers

I have done that on a night out or drop the landing legs on the trailer, it just depends what it does to the sleeping position. It tends to blow a bit when you are parked on the Maasvlakte overnight :stuck_out_tongue:

I had it once on Hebrides, the ferries were cancelled and I had to park up in Lochmaddy. No trees, high building or nothing to hide from the wind. And we had a rooftop sleeping cabs. That was the worse sea sickness I had in my life

I ended up sleeping on the bench in a ferry terminal
