Please can someone recomend a place to park up for a night near Clacton?
You could try Tendring Park Services on the A133 at Weeley (CO16 9AD)
Only 8 truck spaces so you need to be there early.
Its been a few years now, not sure if its still possible,but our lads used to park in the Clacton town car park after finishing a late delivery to our store.
I spoke to the council and they said use the Martello coach and lorry park.
Marine Parade West/West Road intersection it’s next to a Toby Carvery.
Are there any secure lorry parks around Clacton?

Just looked at the on Google Streetview and it says “Coaches Only” at the entrance. There are also some very strong barriers that look like the could be closed at times.
Yes I saw that too Martin but after a second phone call the council said that’s the place.
I think I need something a bit more secure!
The 133 into Clacton, there’s a big tescos store, b+q etc. As far as I know no barriers?

How close is close? Last week on here Ovlov Jay was on about Colchester football ground being available for parking.
