Looks as though I’ll be fetching up in or near Bungay tonight. Anyone got any suggestions for parking up? I have a feeling you can’t drive through the town in a wagon?

Which direction are you coming from and whom are you loading from will depend on what I can tell you. And no you can’t go through the town.

Ok there cafe has shower in , don’t know charge and it’s free to park , but don’t get there late as it fills up quick

Do you mean the lorry park, on A143 exit. Cooper’s is much better, secure parking, and freshly cooked driver size food portions…
And don’t take to long trying to park, as Gary hasn’t got a lot of patience, waiting.
Or use the lorry parking at Lowestoft. Free, and a 5 min walk to ASDA, or the town centre for Wetherspoons, takeaways etc. A lot nearer to Bungay than Bury St Edmunds!

I live there.And would’nt park in there.lol.Right next door to the local rehab centre.Better to go past asda and park on the ind est behind the Honda dealership.

Sorry, I meant I was loading from Bury, not parking up there prior to loading at Bungay. Ended up parking outside Bury truckstop (Rougham Hill I think it’s called). Showers not working and toilets indescribable. Walked into the town for pie and pint. Will bear the Lowestoft tip in mind though, ta.
