Parking @ Twickenham

The other half is off the see Lady GaGa this Saturday at Twickenham (The Darkness is one of the supports. ) and she needs somewhere to park that isn’t going to cost the earth. Most of the car parks are pre book, and full.

Anyone got any ideas?

Ken.

Parking around Twickenham when an event’s on is a nightmare, personally I’d park in Staines and get the train to Twickenham (about 15mins).

I park at Mill Hill East and get a tube/train to Twickers it only costs £7 for the tube…

There’s a big car park at Richmond on the A316, if going into London on the right just after the river bridge, very short walk to railway station, Twickenham 2 stops away or near enough for a cab. 'Park is well lit, never seen trouble there and right on the main road. It is pay and display, though not sure about weekends and eves.

Hope this helps.

When the M3 becomes the 316 turn left at the roundabout, right at first lights and follow road through town, over mini roundabout by pubs, next roundabout right and park anywhere there available and walk down. Or turn left at roundabout and find parking there. Free parking but a little walk. No waiting in car park queue either then! My aunt lives there!

Bottle of cheap plonk and she’ll let you park in the drive probably!

Should have told me last night.

Wife has managed to get parked at one of the schools that are opening up for events to raise cash. Great idea.

It’s 1.1 miles to the ground.
