Have to park up during the day before collection at General Mills early evening. Anyone suggest quiet parking nearby?
Don’t know about quiet during the day, but you could park on the dock (think for a fee). The Harrow pub is opposite and the Spar shop. Chippy and Indians too. Only a short walk over the bridge into town if you fancy that.
The other other options are the trading estates, but not quiet during the day. Or there is an off road lay by 9 miles south of Berwick. But nothing there apart from a public toilet.
I’d opt for the dock and try and get tucked away in the corner out the way.

Its been a while but you used to be able to park on the front, by the quay(dock) and almost the whole town was a few minutes walk, or there is an industrial estate where the A1 turns a hard left going North at the roundabout, a pub on the roundabout that does pretty good food and a (I think) Tesco superstore on the other side of the roundabout both within a couple minutes walk
Yes been there. Unless its changed recently it a morrisons, used to be a Safeway. Also a McD if that’s your thing. Also a shell garage further down that road. If your self sufficient, or a loner carry on to the border point, large off road laybys, one each side.
