Parking sugestions - slough area

Can anyone suggest where I can park in the slough area, as we seem to be doing more & more loads out of Unilever slough and its usually late when we get there to load before heading north.
As I don`t know the area, ideas where I can park without being disturbed would be good

Berwick Avenue on the Trading Estate is a good place. away from the main roads.

Anywhere near your location would be good enough for me! :grimacing:

Agreed, though worse case scenario would be dropping the trailer into Unilever and picking it up after a 9

I notice that streetview shows some No HGV parking signs along Berwick Avenue. Has there been a problem with HGV parking down there?
If its a problem, which I doubt maybe you can suggest an alternative location.
As I mostly do the Unilever run on Saturdays, camping out on Saturday night, so there would be minimal disruption to local business if I parked on Berwick Ave

I used to stop in Galvin RD always wagons parked up there overnight and it has the mother of all cctv cameras overlooking it
dead handy as theres a garage,a pub and a kebab shop in 5 mins walk

I’ve never had problems stopping on Berwick ave, i think the signs were put up because trucks parking during the day were obstructing the entrances to the businesses along there. Galvin road is another good one although i’ve not been there for a while.

What about Wernham Hogg, are they still on the Slough Trading Estate ?

I always used to park on the A4,If you come off the M4 junction 6 take the road into Slough at the first roundabout turn left ( There’s a weight limit sign but you turn off before the limit) go down to the second set of lights with a filter lane to turn right (there’s a chippy on your left)turn right here follow the road for about 250m and just before the traffic lights turn right onto the service road.
Park anywhere on the right (if you can pull down to the office block there’s a security camera!)but don’t park outside the main door, the security guard does’nt like it.Its about a 10min walk back to the chippy or there’s a pub next door to it.
There’s also the usual kebab shops and such if you walk to the end of the road that your parked on.( just passed the golf shop)

Iirc correctly the resulting fallout from a disaterous Christmas party caused a rapid move to pastures new.
