Nighting out at Poole tomorrow, normally I park up outside Kerrys and go to the Holes Bay pub for something to eat, is there anywhere better to park between there and Winchester (driving time depending) or would I be better off sticking with what I know?
Rownhams services maybe ,plenty off layby’s along the 31 but wouldn’t personally want to stop in them nursling ind estate off j3 not to bad for parking but no where within walking distance for food sorry probably not all that helpful only know a few places that way.
Ringwood, lorry park next to town centre
ive seen a few parked up here on waliisdown road
right by a 24hr garage and a miller & carter steak house across the road
the police drive by a lot as its there nearest place to top up on doughnuts
and the storage place has cctv
you can park at the grayhound stadium in the town centre. if you left kerrys left onto dual carriage way down to the asda lights keep in left lane (lights have speed and red light camera 30 mph ) left over rail bridge to the roundabout take 1st exit before old pub. then 2nd left between bt building and police / fire building lorry park on left stadium park on right. no charge i believe, head back to pub walk through the dolphin centre to the old part of town to the quay. nothing to the left past bus station exept parks good for walking though. nothing back over bridge. you can get round dolphin centre both ways. easiest is through bus station by toilets turn right follow road until you reach shops then left down old high street. sounds a long way but it is not. bike night ( by the hundreds )on tuesdays and cars fridays during summer. come and enjoy.
