Well spent Xmas eve & & Xmas day at the autohof J63 Cloppenberg & had a jollly ole time. I have to hand it to the Germans all facilities available, plus a smile from the staff. No wonder they’re the bank of europe, all normal no matter what the day. Me thinks a few countries could help themselves this way rather than moaning about being broke. Tried ringing the boss this morning to see whether he sorted out a trl change for me & guess what he hung up on me. Not a problem Al4trucks open & functioning so now quite happy here drinking & passing on some drivel to any of you fine people who care to read the crap I write. He didn’t want his B/holiday disturbing so he’s paying me to enjoy myself.
Yes I know sad the be working Christmas but it was my turn this year & just had 6 weeks off with the family now I’m having a rest. 
A good friend of mine driving for a well known CA company is stuck in Steele ,North Dakota where even the pubs are shut.Look it up on Earth…its the middle,middle of nowhere.
See what you mean Harry, bit bleak. I’m not complaining, I’m happy enough as long as I can get a meal, 
beer & shower. Oh and not have to worry too much about having my fuel or load nicked.

The net, mmmm keeps me from going mad - now & then; but I’m so rarely on line I end up spending hours getting up-dates on just about everything except anything of any use, never the less I shall survive. Drink, eat be happy & for the last 30yrs I’ve managed to stay between the ditches. Here’s to you Harry a wee Glen something down the neck. Safe 2012 to ye all.
