Parking on the A3072 North Devon

As the subject says. 1st time this far south and looking for a place to stop. Heading into crediton in the morning and had planned to stop at tiverton services but as it transpires cant take a truck in there. Is there anywhere on the 3072 to stop or anywhere in crediton that i can go?

You can park at side of halfords kennedy way tiverton 10 mins off m5 if that

Cheers

Err, you don’t want to be going from Tiverton to Credition on the A3072, I can tell you that. Not unless you want to get jammed on a medieval bridge which is about half an inch wider than a truck and which has a right-angled turn at the end of it. :stuck_out_tongue:

There’s nothing wrong with the 3072. Yes the bridge at Bickley is a little tight but not half as bad as your saying. It’s certainly a better option than going all the way down to Exeter to get to crediton from tivvy.

If you come from Tiverton and go over Bickeigh bridge you’ll find yourself on the a396 heading to Exeter

Not if you turn right Just after the trout Inn. There’s a small bridge there which is the one I thought Harry was talking about.

I’m not sure what the bridge is called but I would recognise it if I ever went that way again because it’s probably still got my rear trailer under-run bar lying somewhere near it. :stuck_out_tongue:
