Drive the 5 miles or so to Exmouth. Follow the road right into the town centre (IE don’t turn off at any point) and when you see the railway on the right, look beyond. A free HGV park! Drive to the roundabout just passed the station, swing right, then double back at the next roundabout to enter the large car park. There is a slip road up the side to take you to the marked lorry spaces. It’s 500 yards to the town centre, pubs, takeaways etc and has marvelous views over the mouth of the river which is nearly 1.5 miles wide there. 10 mins from the M5!
Exmouth isn’t 10 minutes from the M5.
Exeter inn clyst Honiton, few minutes off M5 buy food and drink in his pub and park in his car park. Not sure on prices but it’s quality grub and shows the footie. Pretty quiet as well.

only 4 years to late lol . there is parking in exeter for about 8 trucks in micheal browning way was pay and disp. up 377 turn right just before river follow to marina and right into said road or off at 29 follow to river out on 377 and left
