correct kendal
Kendal, ■■■■■■■ or Kendleshire near Bristol? By the look of your request, Kendal. If it’s Kendleshire, you’re well out of the way!
Not my favourite, Truckhaven, if you have got another half an hour, crack on up to J38 Tebay. Much better facilities and food.

I pop for a shower before I get there then park on Mintsfeet Ind Est just off A6 Shap rd and it’s only a shirt walk into town with chippy and pub on the way if you don’t want the town centre mate. Used to park on the riverside in town years ago but all finished now same as most other places.

That could be a better option for me thanks mate. Appricate the advice lads
Just bear in mind the 3 chippys I know close early, sometime around 8 to 9 for some reason and some not open every night.
People must be healthy in Kendal.

You mean “we all knew”
Stoke or Stoak. Anick or Alnwick. KedDington or Kedington. All pronounced the same but spelt differently. A simple spelling mistake can cost a few quid diesel and time.
So you are driving around the quaint village of Dunham in Cheshire looking for Gilwilly Industrial Estate and then you realise you should be in …Durham.
Don’t always rely on a sat nav too, there are two Newton le willows, four Eccles, three Salford.

And I thought Gilwilly Ind. Estate was in Penrith
@BJD, no one was having a go about the spelling of the OP, it’s just that there are places, as has been pointed out that are spelt similar but in different parts of the Country.

Hey, you’re right Rustler! Shows that you know where you’re going. Gilesgate is the one I was thinking of.
