Where i park ,is Felber strasse , its in a railway sideing, so no facilites, i have only parked there mid week so no shower needed as i had one on route, lkw augustin have a bit of the yard . you can get out both ends of the place, its about ten or fifteen minute walk to the main bit of town, there is a sports bar five min’s, loads of tart shop’s if that’s your thing. up one of the side roads near the sport bar is a good restaraunt, dont look much but food was good, i park about half way along the sideing quite enough there, hope that helps
Never been to Austria, but according to my Tom Tom there’s a Autohof near Alland (A21/E60) about 17 miles away and a rest area with filling station and restaurant called Simmering (A4/E58/E60) about 4 miles away. There are of course other rest areas listed, with facilities, depending on where you are coming from / going to / want to be. If interested I can provide more details.

ALSO just off the A21 on the B12 (B124) is a garage with parking
plus across the road was a supermarkt, exit should be
marked as Brunn am Gebirge,
Alland is ok to park, very good showers onsite and the village is only a 5 minute walk away with resturants & supermarkets, one of our boys just spent 8 days parked there! The OMV services there is the one to park at, very good food too!
Guys thanks so much this site is a great help i have Saved this thread so when out on the road and if plans changed i can look here and see where to park. When i get more experiance of places ill try and contribute to this a bit more. thanks and any more suggestions would be greatful:D

head for felberstrasse mate, that lkw yard is where we park when we are doing gigs up the road, i did hear there may be a shower in the railway station which is only a couple of minutes away, just keep your eyes of the ladies of the night who line the road when you drive in!!!
You can park near the airport at the airfreight terminal / industrial park and then catch a local train to the city on your day off if you want plus all facilities are available at the airport
I have parked in front of the Votivkirche as advised by the local police, and there is an Irish bar about 200 meters away that let us use their shower, I can’t remember the name, but will ask my work mate on Wednesday when I see him again, My other choice would be the freight area at the airport

Not me, I was in Prato last Monday, you don’t want to hang around with those Whites blokes, they will only encourage heavy drinking and partying
lol i know they knew some of the blokes i know so storys were swapped over a "small"amount of beers in town on sat lol good blokes though

HI, Have tipped in Vienna very many times and can suggest a safe parking location.
Exit the main ring road at ST MARX, down the slip road, bearing right onto the 3 lane road. get over to the left lane now facing a set of lights. At the lights turn LEFT. On the left you will see FRIGOSCANDIA COLD STORE. Keeping the cold store to your left proceed about 200 yards and the road bears tight to the left another 200 yards there is a turning to the left BEHIND Frigoscandia. The Vienna abbottoir is about quarter of a mile on the right. Park anywhere from the turn left to the abbottoir.
We would go to the abbottoir entrance and screw it round and park against Frigo’s back wall, also ready to pull away from the area when ready…Have a good trip. Harry Baker Sleaford Lincs
