Afternoon, so here’s the scenario…cardriver ,van driver hgv driver, you’ve got a half hearted tyre that’s going flat. You pull into services and it’s empty on way in,for all manners of said vehicles to park up. You find the sight that says AIR ,yippee you say, however you find two English hgv parked up in the air bay having their 45mins. You kindly ask them to leave but hey ho it’s a no… I saw this happen and the vehicle in this situation was a car. Big guy not one to mess with was bagging on both their doors to come out. I didn’t see outcome as I was on my home. Ever been in this.

It sounds like too perfect of a situation. Like 1 in a 1 000 000 000 000 000 chance (give or take)
Valve core remover in one’s kit is never out of the way, someone being an arse can be an arse with a flat of their own to sort out.
You see this taking a break on the air/water point quite often, its probably steering wheel operatives who can’t reverse so don’t want to look an even bigger tool than they do blocking the airpoint

Remembering to not only leave the valve core out but place it very obviously next to the valve stem on the rim to make the point that their attitude is why they’re now sat there and going to be 2hrs late getting home from work.

If the whole point is they’re parked on the air station, it would be a sad state of affairs for it to take 2 hours to reinsert core and pump up.
In which case remove core, put in pocket, save it for a rainy day…

Must admit I went into toddington s/b this morning & there was loads of room in lorry park but there was lorries parked all round the pumps ,
Not sure…
I can see the value in vandalising someone’s tyres and compounding the problem.
It’s up to the forecourt and MSA owners to enforce some sort of time limit and issue a fine for overstaying. There’s enough cameras everywhere to record vehicles times in and out etc. Parking scams are run by computer programmes now, so it shouldn’t be a problem for them.
