Taking a load up there tomorrow and was wondering about parking around Powell Packaging in the Southpark Industrial Estate.
However I’ve heard things about that industrial estate about parking and was wondering if there is anywhere else around to park for at least 9 or 10 hours. Not more than 30 mins from Scunthorpe itself.

You want a nice quiet night or facilities nearby? South Park ind estate has a few nice dead end roads which will be fairly quiet, there’s parking down near the big tesco just off m181 but can be busy on a night due to McDonald’s and kfc, failing that snowdonia avenue down skippingdale should be quiet enough, if you want a really quiet night head down to a1077 towards the Humber bridge, around 6 miles out of Scunthorpe you’ll come to winterton, the moment you come into 30mph zone turn right down the small industrial estate

Just checked on google maps and is that one in Winterton the Roxby Road Industrial Estate.
If so i think i might give that a crack. Should be there by at least 7pm so hopefully wont be full with other vehicles.

That’s the one, not very often you get anything down these as its small local businesses Rather than big companies. Carry on into winterton and turn right at mini roundabout about 50 yards on left is a chippy, bit further on right a spar shop, both with a 10 minute walk from parking area but in a 7.5 tonne zone
I’ll get walking mate, 7.5 tonnes is bit light for me i’m afraid. All in good exercise.
I might get a decent night sleep for once! I’ll let you know how i get on fella

No worries mate, born and bred round there, bit local for me to overnight but if I was in the area it would be first place I choose.
