Parking in Ludlow?

Setting off today for an 8am tip in Knighton tomorow and was wandering if there’s anywhere I could park in Ludlow near pubs, takeaways etc. checked on HGVParking.com and it says of a place on Lower Galdeford but I’ve never been there so don’t know what the place is like for access as I’m in an artic pulling a 14 foot 11 inch trailer and I’m sure there are low bridges in the town centre?
Is there still parking available in the town centre for HGV’S at Leominster? I suppose I could go down there and run back up in the morning.

Not sure about Ludlow, it seems to be in a locked industrial estate so don’t know how you would access it. Leominster is still open behind the Fire Station. If not you can stop in the garage on the roundabout, I believe.

Depending which direction you’re coming from. you could park on the Meole Brace Services, next to Dobbies by Shrewsbury… It’s the junction of the A5/A49…room for about 6 motors, but I think there’s only a Burger King or similar besides the fuel station shop… Not far to walk to Meole Brace retail park where there’s a 'Spoons type of pub…

I woudln’t venture into Ludlow town, as you say, there a some bridges, and it’s not a big place anyway…

Ludlow is accessible with an artic, there is a low bridge nearby and a narrow bridge so go in from the North side of town where Ludlow Town Football Club is on the A49. Into the town, turn left onto Station Drive, supermarket on the right, railway station on the left. Up the hill to a set of lights, turn right onto Upper Galdeford, sharp left at the One Stop shop, down the hill and Smithfield Coach Park will be on the right after the police station on Lower Galdeford.
Pub, back up to the shop, go through a cobbled street, turn right, pass the hotel and The Compass is on the other side of the road. Take away opposite the One Stop shop.
Knighton, the cattle market with the Horse and Jockey or Groom not far.

Leominster’s still good; so’s Knighton cattle market and both the latter have toilets. Ludlow’s a nice place but it’ll be rammed with tourists this week.

Cheers for the replys. Is Knighton cattle market near to Radnor Hills water company by any chance? That’s where I’m tipping in the morning.

radnor water is before knighton its about 10 min from knighton there is an ind est by co-op on a49 island at ludlow plus a pub there too

Curry house, pizza and chinky all on the ind estate plus a pub next to the a49

Just been to the ind estate across from the pub and co-op and there are 2 signs up saying no overnight parking for HGVS up as you drive into the estate however there are no double yellows down. Didn’t want to risk it though so pulled into a lay by just up the road. How long these signs been up and is it best just to ignore them seeing as though they don’t seem to be “official” signs?
