Hi all, shipping Harwich to Esbjerg on fri night,anyone know if i can park in the dock when i get off?

If they don’t allow parking they will know where you can park. I have looked at my list of truck stops and don’t see one near Esbjurg. Where are you heading after the crossing? you might be better to head towards there before you park up. There is a truck stop near Kolding, that is only 45 minutes out of Esbjurg and on the motorway running north to south of the Country
yeah,head out of the dock and after about 1.5km you’ll see a statoil garage on your right,you can park there and also get your vignette.

if you are going to Frederikssund I would drive over to that side of the country and find parking around Copenhagen or Roskilde,it’s about 3 1/2 hours from the ferry and will get you a lot closer to your job on Monday.

If you can make it to Koge,there is a statoil truckstop with a burger king and plenty of parking there

I have parked outside the Customs Building just at the exit of the Port without any problems.
The Statoil and Korskro (Shell) fill up with communists but there is always a space. There is Speedway at Korskro on Wednesday nights and Amatuer Motocross on the Weekend.
If you go up the hill from the Customs House you are only a ‘short walk’ from the town centre. McDs if on a budget, Jensens if you’re flush. There are some cosy pubs that work out at £3/£4 a bottle of Tuborg or Carlsberg beer. There is also an Irish pub always full of expats that is easy to find.
Everyone speaks better English than you do, enjoy… it’s a nice place.
