This morning i had a drop in cromer,so as my last drop last night was in yarmouth thought i would drive up there and park up there.
So when i got there i thought i would park in the coach park so i could have a look round, all the car parks there don’t allow lorry parking.
So had a drive round and found a car park near the seafront with a sign saying ‘overnight lorry parking 3 quid please pay at garage’ so parked there but garage was shut so did’nt pay.
I was wondering where other lorry drivers park in cromer
Hi folks!
I live in Cromer and I can tell ya now that there is no where to park- car , truck, broomstick whatever UNLESS you have a disabled badge! Go up towards Holt and there is an Ind Est or two there, I usually park in them to nip home or theres a big lay-by on the Holt road just past Burger King on the left at the top of the hill. Hope this helps!
Are you over 65?
Seriously though, its ok in spring/autumn. Avoid like the plaugue in summer. Traffic jams and gridlock usually through the town. Cromer Carnival is pretty good- one of the biggest in Norfolk, usually takes place 3rd week in Aug for the whole week. Good pubs and places to eat(try Cromer Crab, support my wifes uncle!) recommend the dormy in west runton for their carvery! Be warned, it is OAP city! by the way pete- a cask of what? orange juice?

off the subject slightly, but always fancied having a short break in cromer.whats it like . prefer the quiet places so that wont be a problem.
Try Overstrand near Cromer if you want really quiet.
Sheringham is good too. Quiet this time of year. The thing you need to watch about out of season visits to north Norfolk, is the fact that about half the places close up. Cromer still has life tho. And Norwich isn’t too far away either.
Cromer has a nice cinema, and a great pier and loads of good food.
I have parked in the same car park, again garage was shut so didn’t have to pay. It actually seems like a fairly safe place to park. Not too noisy, but wouldn’t fancy it much if the sea was craching in just the other side of the road…

Going off the subject a bit (ok a lot) Eddie Snax finally found out how to work the keyboard. Must have taken you at least a day to type that lot at your normal speed.
Norwich beer festival is well worth a visit, it’s late oct/early nov, and simply amazing. Get there early as half the county tries to get in usually. Lunchtime and evening sessions, and usually over 200 beers on tap at about 2 quid a pint. Run by Camra, and showcases beers from all over the east of england and beyond.

we had a weeks holiday in caister this year, its the first time i`ve been over that way on holiday, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. i can recommend the area, although it was the first week in september, so i expect the holiday hordes had quietened down a bit.
