Currently tipping in Hartlepool and looking for ind est/fuel station to park at in South Shields. I dont mind paying up to a tenner if its safe.
Alternitively I can stay in Hartlepool and run upto South Shields in morning.

There used to some near the Tesco store in the centre of Hartlepool but its been ages since I’ve been so can’t be specific enough for you, sorry for being no help at all!
I found it easy enough so hope you can and there used to be some by Asda just north of town by the football ground.
I would probably head up the A19 come off at the a1231 and park on pattison ind est round by fowler welch or asda. Or the next exit off the a1231 is a McDonald’s you can park in the lane on the left just before McDonald’s.
Come off A19 onto 194 East to a South Shields. Straight over first roundabout. Take first left after Tesco/Maccys… You’ll now be on a Ind Est with plenty of space for parking.
