Broxden services - Motorway Services, Broxden | service station info

Thanks Mate

i dont think theres showers at browxden, i know there aint a bar but if you cant get parked in broxden just head into a layby on the a9 or head into inveralmond industrial estate and park in the coach bays at tiso, thats usually full during the week in there.

As Gogzy says,no showers ,no “proper” meals just overpriced sandwiches and snacks. It’s just a glorified filling station.Parking for about a dozen trucks.

Inveralmond is the easiest place to stop, avoid the vosa layby at Stirling as you’ll get your fuel nicked… Think Theresa free trucks top near norboard at Stirling although never stopped there myself…

Muirpark truckstop. ■■7 8AL.

Red Moss is my advice. See redmoss.wordpress.com

Red Moss is on the old A74 towards Glasgow, coming off the M74 at junction 13 for Abington Services/Edinburgh but look for the sign at the end of the sliproad and after about four miles Red Moss is on the left. Plenty of room to park, CCTV, bar and showers. Inveralmond is ok for parking and thats about it. No pub, food or showers nearby.

like everyone has said before Inveralmond is the best bet, free, usually enough activity lorrywise to keep it safe but still quite. Loads of places to park all round the estate. out of curiosity where are you tipping?

You can park on industrial estate at larkhall

why are folk suggesting to park down in glasgow or like an hour and a half away at abington? he said close by

unfortunatly scotlands crap for truckstops, usually just msas.

He also said bar/shower/food !

You could park at the triangle in Perth there is a BP garage and a car garage we park out side the BP next to the car garage, if you cross over the road there is a very good pub with great food, you can also park behind this pub there is lots of space as Craibs and nicols park up there every weekend, shower available at Volvo inveralmond if your tipping on that estate. Triangle is next to inveralmond industrial estate turn right at inveralmond roundabout A912 only 50 yards from roundabout.

Personally I’d stop for a shower on the way up the 74 then park at The Triangle as mentioned earlier. Quiet, no hassle & good grub in The Maltings over the road!
The truckstop at Bannockburn is good but as far as I know it’s not open sundays.
Failing that there’s always one of our favourite places,a little out of the way but quiet,no prob’s with wagon or load & 5 mins walk from pubs & chippy etc. Crioch Place, a little industrial estate in Creiff. Easy across to Perth monday morning & easy to get to from the A9 on the way up on sunday.

you could head down the harbour and park around there and the city centre is a five min walk away

Hi Just across the road from Broxden services there is a short dead end road leading to a macdonalds and a harvester resturant where you can get a decent meal and a pint.

Dont go up the dead end road theres nowhere to turn round.

Park on Broxden and walk up the steps at the back onto Park and Ride, either get the bus to town (not sure what time they stop though) or walk through to McDs or Harvester pub. Broxden is free parking.

So then bluebird1927, where did you stop?
