It seems that yet again a number of drivers have spoiled it for the rest of us. Because of the actions of them, leaving bottles of ■■■■, piles of excrement on the footpath and leaving bags containing excrement for others to dispose of, we are now not allowed to park here. The police are patrolling the area and handing out letters, as well as recording the vehicle details, operators name and the drivers name.
This is also, IMO, why the lay-bys on the A1 around the Doncaster area were all closed. The councils got sick and tired of spending money they don’t have in their budgets tidying up the lay-bys, so they just closed them all. If these so called professional drivers carry on, where will we be allowed to park. Councils will just double yellow whole areas to stop us parking there, leaving the exorbitant MSA or the independent truckstops (if you can get a space in them).
This is not just foreign drivers causing these issues. How many posts have been posted on here complaining about drivers getting out of their cabs and ■■■■■■■ against their wheel rather than walk the 100 mars to the service building?
Personally, I can only see this getting worse because of the ignorant and selfish few.
It’s always the same,once saw a bloke peeing at side of his truck in tebay truck stop and then walked to the cafe, 
I despair at some drivers behaviour it’s shocking.

Yep I stopped in ferry bridge at 5 pm for 45 and it was full then and when I came to back back out of my space some Zb Jonny had parked opposite making it hard to back out , He got given coffee beans

Plenty of room at redbeck and the lorry park in Wakefield city center?
That was a decent place to park if not loaded with owt worth nicking, nosey buggers round there like to see what’s in your trailer
That said I stopped many a time and used the few pubs, the malt shovel has a shower for the truck drivers to use ffs, dirty ■■■■■■■■ leaving their gifts behind.
I’m gonna miss tramping as I start new job on days tomorrow but hearing things like this still annoys me.

The Redbeck and Wakey town centre are a long and tiresome drive from Cas…
Wakefield truck parking is about 10 trucks max.
They closed the lay by’s on the A1 from Darrington to Redhouses for safety reasons.
A dedicated truckstop needs to be built for the area.
Basically the letter is telling you that providing you park on the correct side of the road, display the relevant lights and don’t leave piles/bags of ■■■■ everywhere, there is little they can do until they actually put parking restrictions in place.
Its a scaremongering tactic designed to intimidate and harass.
I use that on a very regular basis and it has got worse over the last few months. You’d think when they build industrial areas they would ensure there is some form for overnight parking and would go a good way to solving the problem.
