Parking between Inverness and Caithness?

Got a load out of Methill in Fife up to Gillock in Caithness for in the morning and was wandering of any nice parking spots past inverness preferably near a pub/takeaways?
I’ve done this run a few times in the past but always stayed in Inverness and I love it there it’s just I fancy a change. I’ve got 5 and half hours driving left so where could I end up being tonight with no traffic problems? I’m thinking around Tain/Dornoch. Any help would be appreciated.

If you don’t find anywhere in between or decide to stay in Inverness and get stuck, might be worth giving the Eden court theatre a ring, they’ve got a huge car park and big loading dock, if they’ve not got a show on you might be able to park there. Puts you a few minutes walk from the shops.

I know a spot just before you go over the bridge where the train station is. Little industrial units at the side of a chippy and BP garage can park in there no bother. Cheers though pal.

Dingwall is lorry friendly Steve, town centre lorry park, toilets, pubs, fish and chip shops , takeaways.
