The Sarge:
That’s how I was taught “take your road position and command it”
I have to say I was taught using the quote above by Paul at LTS. Foreward planning so you can get in to a command position is the name of the game. Paul’s guidance paid off as I passed the class C yesterday. All the training clicked in to place as I did have similar issue’s with road position and commanding the road, got stuck in CAR mode too many times.
Deffo signal might be a biker right up close or a small car. Minor a least if i u dnt.
Roundabouts u just need to split the lanes on approach. That stops car driving ■■■■■ sneaking down the side.
Only if you need the extra space to get round otherwise your just holding up other vehicles.

fair point this is wot needs clarifyin with the instructer tho

I asked the very same question and my instrutor said “in the lorry was always signal” so thats what we did.
Your tutor doesn’t sound very good. Did you get three minors or a serious to get the fail?

i got 3 minors
basically for signalling to go right at the next lights with a small road before so he said people
behind me me would have been confused i accepted that but the harsh one was for signalling
back in after i had signalled out at parked vehicles !!! i thought it was harsh but he said it would have confused
people ! apart from that i drove perfect !
Im having a few problems with this how far from the parked car should you signaling?
On roundabouts should you nearly always straddle? To not get close to centre of roundabout when turning right and to avoid clipping curb to turn left or go straight on?
