Was 350 million the budgeted figure?
Even full fact accepts that little inconvenience

I only wish the EU had asked for a £1 billion.
By your logic refusing to continue paying £250m we would be £750,000,000 better off, not a mere 350m!

Again…sorry if the actual figures are disturbing for you. I suggest you’re struggling with the idea that the 2016 figures were calculated using a rebate figure for the previous year. The fact there was a rebate does not alter the predicated cost of membership.

Unlike your little absurdity, these figures have a basis in the real world.

In the real world what counts is what is really paid not what is theoretically asked for.

The absurdity is that anyone would possibly seek to defend the £350m figure when even Farage and Duncan-Smith disowned that figure.
Well, they did soon enough after the vote, if not before.

I dont think Ill be taking advice from you about “the real world”, thank you.

I’m sorry you find being accurate over the bill so distressing…
But then it’s Remainers that struggle over the whole ‘promise’ issue. I’ve yet to find a leaver who was swayed over a red bus advert.
Still, obsessing over a non issue negates any requirement for introspection…

Figures used in negotiating the bill are irrelevant.
If you have trouble in reading I will repeat, again, the claim by Leave.
“We send the EU €350 million every week…”
The UK has never sent that amount, therefore that claim is false.
.

The UK's EU membership fee - Full Fact.

Is a good source for truthfull info.

Absolutely.
Good source on many subjects.
If any haven’t used it, do your own research on it’s make up and funding. As open and unbiased as any.

No difficulty reading here, my little dove…nor any issue in differentiating between money sent and the actual bill.

Perhaps you struggle with the bill being calculated as it is. Again, perhaps we owe a debt of gratitude to eurosceptics in obtaining that rebate.

Left to people such as yourself the weekly cost physically disbursed would be far higher than it is now.
