Paper tacho to digital card

For the last four days I have been using a analouge tacho, I am now on rest for three days and when I go back to work I could be using a digital tacho. If I use a digital tacho what manual entries do I need to make to account for the time using analouge? I am thinking that I should just add my weekly rest as the paper charts show what I was doing. Never really bothered that much about manual entries before but company I am now with want it done.

No digi entries need to account for analogue use

The two sorts of official recordings are used together and as long as they have recorded all that you need to then no worries

Makes sense now you say it like that, so all I would need to enter on the digi is my weekly rest and job done. I had five days training for this job, information overload is a under statement.

REST of any kind does not need to be entered as any non recorded gaps will be deemed as rest

Company wants rest recorded, a bit like putting SWR and EWR on a paper chart with a line and time. I know how to do it so that’s no bother. Not the end of the world if I forget as the ? Is regarded as rest I believe. Best to do it the way they want, 3 month probationary period and all thet.

The rest on a digi would be from recording ‘country at end of shift’ to ‘country at start of shift’ - at least I think thats correct having read other posts on this subject

that would be like putting SWR and EWR on an analogue
