Utter chaos or precision timing ?
How many times did you drive round that place? I lost count after a while.[emoji1]
And why were they loading a palletways trailer in a palletline hub?[emoji15]
Must say, looks a bit more spacious than the Pallex hub.

Ha ha, love it, it’s like going to Toscos & using Stainsburys bags.
I hate that place with a vengeance, all the H&S B/S during the day, but do what you like at night because it’s busy !
Palletline Management are going to love Rearaxle for that video, l got a Bollocking once for taking a few pictures of a badly loaded double deka, on bay 11, a manager came down (actually got off his arse) & said that it was against the rules for anyone to post pics & (I assume) videos to social media, because it might give their competitors a heads up of their procedures.
How did you know where to go to get loaded? This place looks like my worst nightmare!!!
What’s your average in/out time in a place like that? 1 hour? 2 hours?
Ours are between 1 and 2 hrs at Pallex.
If you want to see bedlam you should see Palletways at Fradley Park.

Agree with that completely, not helped by the fact that most of the forkies are complete ■■■■■■■■ Don’t forget your hard hat. It’ll save you if a 1ton pallet falls off the top deck!

Is that the place with the Miserable Fat Controller?
My first post, a big HELLOO to all the intrepid kingz of da road! AH the cameraderie! the sense of achievement at the end of our shifts from our can-do attitudes! the adventure! the gratitude shown to us by office types and other road users! …um forget about the last bit.
About Palletline it takes a few weeks of going in to learn all of their etiquette esp about where NOT to park, Mondays and Thursdays and 1st days of the months VERY busy but just yet another place where you find yourself saying “They need a bigger site, its too busy in here!” Theres no burger bar, but has vender machines, a kettle and microwaves. They have good manners, user friendly and helpful but as with everywhere in this industry there is a bit of friction. Ive had pallets gone over and they were glad to help out with restacking!
Turnaround depends on how far away you have to go, some get priority ie Scotland runs so get in and out within 90mins, we go in with 4 trailers per evening from nearby and can spend 2 to 6 hours in there, so I always take my Tablet PC or a book, after you have tipped they tell you to park up then you can get the head down, they come wake you up when its your turn to get loaded. Some folks only go in to get tipped, some loaded some both. The ones who come in double manned are from very far away ie Inverness/Aberdeen. Some dont have the ability to reverse on the tight bays so they need it doing for them to save causing congestion until they get more practice elsewhere.

according to the yard foreman at Pallet Track, the hard hat is just to contain your brains, it makes them so much easier to pick up…
AND,what happens to your hard had first time you look up to put your curtain pole in at the top ■■?
Makes Pallex look organised!
