Is there a legal limit guide for how much stuff you can put on a pallet?
I collected a pallet of bags of dog food today on a open back lorry, it was 7 foot high, wrapped in plastic but was top heavy. Any quick swing could have caused load subsidence.
Had three ratchet straps on it but just wondered the legal limit it=f there is any

how high was your headboard … sounds daft I know but if the load or any part was able to pass over the headboard there’s possibly a case against you … Please note to others I SAID POSSIABLE… If after securing the pallet ( remember rope and rope hooks need to be rated and tested ) and any part of the load moves or allows the ropes or securing devices to loosen /move your load will be seen as insecure where by you can be prosecuted

Headboard is about 7.5 foot Nick, didn’t know rope and hooks needed to be tested and rated
